FFVII fic recs! — specifically looking for anything Gen (about Cloud or Vincent is a bonus), Aerith/Tifa, or Sephiroth/Genesis focused. I mostly read Cloud ships so any recs will most likely be new to me :)

Writing advice! — How do you choose the starting point of your fic/story? Sometimes I get an idea of how one might end but have no idea where to actually start it.

This probably isn't going to be much of a help since I don't know how you go about writing fanfics, but for me it usually starts with one scene that pops into my mind - either an especially funny or dramatic one (depends on the fic, of course), or one that memorable in another way. And then I build the rest of the story around that one scene, adding bits before and after it and connecting them until the story is done. I don't know if that works for everyone, but sometimes just starting with that one scene is at least a way to start writing at all.
