⏾ 017: 2026
Jan. 1st, 2026 10:56 amHappy New Year to everyone! It snowed here a little last night, so we entered the new year with a nice thin blanket of new snow. And, while rewatching the Death Note English Dub lmao. This is what happens when you're homebodies who don't really socialize.
I don't have much to say about 2025, because it felt like a year of failure and stress for me honestly. I'm happy for it to be over. The only things of note were my partner and I becoming more active in our local cosplay community (which is also kind of stressful when you act like a fandom old who follows the three laws of fandom and most people in our actual age group... don't), me getting a job with a stable income again, and writing Genshin RP/fic with my partner.
Oh, and I also graduated community college with my AS, I guess. It doesn't feel like a huge accomplishment since I'm only halfway through education for the career I want, but eh. I also still need to do one more community college class before transferring to a 4-yr in Fall this year.
In terms of writing, I'm at least happy to report that I ended
getyourwordsout this year with 113/120 days for my habit pledge. I'm doing the same pledge this year, because it's just simply the most realistic goal for me. I think the habit pledge might have actually somewhat formed a writing habit in me? I feel the urge to write more. Hopefully, it sticks in 2026. I would love to make the 120 days this time, since I was sooo close last year.
Also, I got an email about receiving an upgrade to a paid Dreamwidth account through their random sponsor program? So, I have that for the year now. Cool!
