Snowflake Challenge #4: 2025 Goals

Since this is the start of a new year, this challenge will be to set your own goals!

I recently made a post about my writing goals for 2025. There is one fanfic idea that I would like to finish this year, and I'm aiming to at least work on some other WIPs I have on my radar. I have executive dysfunction issues, so I'm not trying to bite off more than I can chew lol. In general, I'm also hoping to relax a little more this year. I'm a college student who typically takes courses even through summer and winter breaks, and the lack of adequate breaks has really been catching up with me.

Cloud/Vincent is not a pairing I had ever considered before but you have my attention.

Yeah, I have this habit of shipping my favorite characters together. It sometimes results in some seemingly random pairs lol. I feel like they work really well together though!

Can't believe I'm meeting another Vincent stan in 2025. He was my childhood crush, oh my god. I feel you on pairing the favs together, it's such a mood.

Oh yes, Vincent is everything to me! I didn't grow up with FFVII unfortunately, but KH put the game on my radar. Around this time last year, I started the original. I watched Advent Children before getting to the point where you can recruit Vincent, and once I saw him, I immediately loved him. I then proceeded to speedrun getting him in my party LOL.

I will never, ever, EVER be over the fact that Vincent, a pale-as-a-sheet red-eyed undead guy dressed in black and red robes and parts of medieval armor, that you find in an abandoned mansion full of monsters, in the basement, inside a coffin, where he proceeds to do a backflip and sulk about his lost love, and then spend a good chunk of the travel just existing in dark corners, melancholy and lonely...

...is the game's equivalent of a werewolf. It just gets me. It's the funniest example of complete stereotype misdirection I've seen. God I love him so much. It's been almost 20 years since I've gotten to squee over him.

For real. This is a perfect description of him lmaoo. Also, just the fact that he feels so gap moe at times. Like yeah, this guy has literal demons living inside him, and he looks like he could take on Sephiroth by himself and win. But, he'll complain about being tired just from standing in the sun. He'll give you a wikipedia-esque infodump about a new disease and spout inciteful wisdom, but you have a question about technology? He suddenly doesn't know a damn thing. It's great.

Squeeing over Vincent is always welcome here. 🫶

Ye! There are currently two ENG patches on Romhacking dot net, one that ports the PC version of the script and another that simply proofreads and fixes the original text.
