Kingdom Hearts, Sonic, and Pokemon are great ways to get into a fandom. KH got lost in its own cleverness for a while there, but it definitely gives us plenty of space to explore in our own fanworks.

Some fandoms were perfect for us at the time, but they no longer serve us well, and that's okay.
